Role Summary:

The Global Brand Manager works closely with regional and country marketing teams to create and ensure continuity of the brand globally. The role owns global retail packaging, provides merchandizing solutions, marketing support & tools as needed to regional/country marketing teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Translates the brand vision into marketing activities with regional and county marketing teams to build and strengthen brand equity.
  2. Oversees the development of retail packaging, product copy, product & lifestyle photography, product videos, sell sheets, brochures and other marketing collateral to ensure successful regional product launch campaigns.
  3. Identifies & drives best practice sharing with regional marketing teams to support and energize new product launch campaigns.
  4. Help plan and execute internal/external events as relevant to the Acme Made brand. Including trade shows, annual sales meetings, marketing summits and customer/new product rollout meetings.
  5. Direct the content of our business and consumer web sites, including the ongoing maintenance and evaluation of copy/graphics.
  6. Plans, develops and directs social media strategies designed to optimize and engage channel partners & end consumers.
  7. Gathers consumer insights to assure product solutions and communications are appealing to the global audience.
  8. Manages approved global marketing budget.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree required, MBA Preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of marketing experience for a consumer brand, with history of demonstrated success in brand strategy, channel marketing or marketing communications.
  • Minimum 2 years experience managing outside agencies & design firms.
  • Proven ability to write/edit clear, concise and engaging copy.
  • Experience working with cross-functional global marketing teams.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & CRITICAL SKILLS

  • Knowledge of public relations and communication principles and practices.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well with other team members, customers, sales, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and complete projects within required timelines.
  • Passionate about driving brand growth by better meeting consumer needs.
  • Experience with social media (highly desired).
  • Experience in Softgoods or Consumer Electronics industry (highly desired).

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position requires extensive interaction with Creative Services and Marketing Communication departments, as well as communications with divisions and worldwide partners. There is no direct supervision of personnel at this time

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Up to 15% both domestic and international as needed.
