(Sebastopol, CA, May 15, 2009) – Lowepro, a product design company that builds protective gear for photography equipment and portable electronics, announces the launch of Hipshot, a series of clip-on pouches designed to offer convenient, lightweight protection for today's favorite styles of personal electronics.
"This pouch has a very user-friendly design with its drawstring closure and handy carabiner to clip on anything," said Tracy Daly, Lowepro product manager. "We created Hipshot to serve a variety of lifestyles. You can use it in an urban or outdoor setting to transport popular personal electronics—everything from an ultra-compact point-and-shoot camera to a mini camcorder to a GPS unit," she added.
The Hipshot is made of 2mm neoprene to provide cushioned protection. The practical drawstring and toggle design provides fast access and closes securely. The attached carabiner slips to a belt loop, strap or D-ring, making it easy to carry the pouch multiple ways.
Designed to offer fun, fast and lightweight protection for a multitude of today's popular personal electronics, the Hipshot is available in three sizes and three colors: Black, Royal Blue/Black, Cherry/Black.
