Bhutan
March 25 — April 6, 2010 (13 days / 12 nights)
In March, Art will conduct an international tour to Bhutan. The trip is limited to 10 participants to insure the optimum experience for all. Art will work one-on-one with each individual as well as the group as a whole. One member from the Travels to the Edge production crew will accompany the group to provide assistance and technical instruction in workflow and other issues faced while shooting away from the comforts of civilization.
Bhutan has survived in isolation for a thousand years. As this enlightened Buddhist kingdom greets the 21st century, its greatest challenge is to preserve its soul. Join Art Wolfe as he explores a photographer's nirvana of mountainside monasteries, sacred festivals and chanting monks in an environmentally and spiritually progressive nation.
2010 Seminars / Classes
Art Wolfe, host of the acclaimed public television series Art Wolfe's Travels to the Edge, has created a comprehensive curriculum based on over 35 years of experience as a professional photographer. Wolfe has tuned this curriculum into an intensive 5-hour seminar exploring specific and critical facets of photographic composition. Using his superlative imagery of wildlife, natural landscapes and the world's diverse cultures, he will lead participants on an artistic journey of insightful discovery.
