Joanne Panizzera

Joanne joined Lowepro a little over a year ago and has never looked back at her career in the high-tech industry. According to Joanne, working for a company that not only shares her values around people but also pro-actively champions environmental causes, is as good as it gets. Joanne's passion for photography spans most of her life. She has traveled extensively to engage in her favorite photo medium: underwater photography. Joanne is a featured artist at DreamOneWorld.org, and donates a percentage of her photography
sales from this site to charity. She has been published in national magazines and won several awards for her nature photography. When not in the office, Joanne can be found riding her beloved Quarter Horse or scuba diving in the Pacific and around the world.
Nigel Fielden

Nigel joined Lowepro in 2000 to set up Lowepro UK, the company's first distribution operation outside North America. Since then, both the global company and the UK operation have changed immeasurably, but Nigel has enjoyed keeping pace with the changes and bringing together the superb team of people which looks after one of Lowepro's most successful markets. In fact, his only complaint is that he never gets to use his electronic engineering background! A frequent traveler, Nigel keeps within the carry-on allowance by carrying his Panasonic compact camera in the Napoli 10. In addition,the Lowepro Factor Messenger M notebook case provides a home for his trusty laptop.
Away from the office, Nigel is inspired to engage in a series of energetic events. This year in conjunction with Lowepro's 40th anniversary, he along with several other European Lowepro co-workers participated in a 40-mile walk, know as Photoplod. 75% of the funds raised in the walk were donated to Polar Bears International. This was then swiftly followed by the 120-mile British Cyclosportive, which followed the route of stage 1 of the Tour de France on its historic UK Grand Depart. Next year, it's a triathlon!
In more idle moments, a 1967 Triumph TR4A is his pride and joy; and on occasion, he can be found sampling a classic margarita - separately of course!
Matt Ostling

Around the office Matt Ostling a.k.a "Matto" is well-known for his extensive and colorful shoe collection. However, for serious photo shoot location scouting, he turns to his dirty hiking boots for practicality. As part of Lowepro's ongoing marketing campaigns showcasing our gear in "real life use" by photographers, Matto scouts a variety of interesting photo locations, and directs advertising photo shoots to capture the products in action. When not in the office or on location for photo shoots, he can be found skateboarding, snowboarding or mountain biking, and always has his camera and Slingshot 200 AW along for the ride.
