A Legacy of Protection: Then and Now

Paul Morrison; Loweprofessional with Whistler Backpack (at Whistler Blackcomb resort)

Ski photographer and Loweprofessional Paul Morrison has carried Lowepro bags for more than 30 years—almost the same amount of time he’s shot epic sports and landscape images in his beloved mountains. In 1997, Paul survived an avalanche in the northwestern corner of British Columbia. While recovering from his injuries, his gear spent 4 months exposed in the wilderness before being recovered intact inside his Lowepro pack.

Fast forward to 2015 when Paul brought his passion and expertise to help us create a pack capable of handling the most extreme conditions on the planet. The result was the award-winning Whistler Backpack. Loweprotection is more that just a catchy term; it's a legacy of innovation and protective design. Whistler BP 450 AW
