"Even though I have been photographing birds since 1983, I am as excited each day that I venture in the field with a big tripod-mounted super-telephoto lens slung over my shoulder as I was when I went out for the first time more than 22 years ago.  Making beautiful bird photographs and teaching others to do the same is my life's passion.  Through my BIRDS AS ART Instructional Photo-Tours, The Art of Nature Photography: It Ain't Just Birds; Weekend Seminars, and the dozens of appearances that I make each year, I reach thousands of folks who are nuts about birds and simply want to learn to make better images.â€

With more than 15,000 of his photographs published in natural history books, magazines, and calendars all over the globe, Arthur Morris is widely recognized as the world's premier bird photographer. One of his four books - The Art of Bird Photography: The Complete Guide to Professional Field Techniques quickly became the classic How-to Work on the subject.  He is a contributing editor with Nature Photographer, a contributing photographer with Bird Watcher's Digest, a WildBird advisory board member, and a Popular Photography columnist. Five of his images have been awarded prizes in the BG/BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competitions.  Art is known as one of the original 55 Canon Explorers of Light and has appeared in seven episodes of the Canon Photo Safari television program.  He currently travels, photographs, teaches, and speaks his way across North America and the world.
