never say, "Hold still. Now give me smile." From the sidelines, I watch
for cues so I can catch decisive moments at their peak. Twenty years
ago, I coined the phrase, "wedding photojournalism". I'm the event's
historian. I report the news - I don't make it."

Winfrey, Denis has documented weddings for a Who's Who of American
life. His image of Carolyn Besette and John Kennedy, Jr. was listed in
"Photographs of the Year" by Time, Life and People.
