"A little while ago someone said my photographs were 'music for the eyes.' I guess this is possibly the greatest compliment one can get as a music photographer."
Rock stars and beautiful women are the focus of Guido Karp’s world-renowned portfolio of images. His passion for capturing the energy of live performance started in high school and has led him on a professional journey that includes shooting for luminaries like Eric Clapton, Genesis, INXS, Dire Straits, Bon Jovi, the Rolling Stones and AC/DC. Guido shot the cover for the all-time best-selling single, "Candle in the Wind" by Elton John. He enjoys experimenting with new technology, and his most recent book, The Nudes: Photography with a Cybershot Mobile, is based on photos taken with a megapixel camera phone, unedited and printed in large format.
