"I was commissioned to photograph Scotland's coast a few years back. Now I'm photographing the country's mountains. Two dream assignments in one lifetime; how lucky can you get? Scotland's notorious weather dominates its epic landscape, and shooting there is challenging. But when the light is good, where in the world is more wonderful?
"I worry about the future of this beautiful planet, but I always feel renewed and inspired by the resilience and vitality of the living landscape." Joe has galleries in North Yorkshire, he leads workshops and shoots assignments for environmental organizations, notably the National Trust. A major force in British landscape photography, he earned The Amateur Photographer's 2006 Power of Photography Award.
