"Wedding photojournalism is the perfect combination of documentary street photography and fine art photography. On a regular basis, I'm invited into the lives of strangers, trusted with the task of finding the elements that make their day unique. A stage has been set with a wide cast of characters and lush backdrops. The frenzied pace of the day feeds my need for adrenaline and at every wedding I get to live a fairy tale of romance."
Kristin began as a fine artist before concentrating on photography at Pratt Institute in NYC. Her photography reflects her past work as a painter. Journalistic influences upon Kristin's work came from working with Elliott Erwitt and Ed Kashi. Kristin is an award-winning member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) and its Artistic Guild (AGWPJA).
