" Whether I'm shooting photos on the side of a 3,000 foot granite wall or in the streets of rural Mexico, I need to trust that my equipment is safe, which is why I used Lowepro. I've been shooting high altitude sports for 15 years, and Lowepro has been my bag of choice since the very beginning because I can always trust that my gear is safe. "
Tara Kerzhner is an award winning photographer, cinematographer, and accomplished rock climber. Born and raised in Bend, Oregon, Smith Rock is her heart’s home - even though she’s graduated from living in a truck to an apartment in Boulder, Colorado.
Since grabbing her mother’s film camera as a kid, Tara’s lifelong dedication to her art was set. A decade of adventure sports and rock climbing has since established her as one of climbing’s most sought-after storytellers. Today Kerzhner balances her passion for adventure sports photography with social and environmental stories.
In some of her recent work, Tara received a grant from National Geographic to bring an Indigenous led perspective to the COVID-19 crisis on the Navajo Nation. She is also an active National Geographic Adventure contributor.
