Piping System
The piping system can be a bit tricky. If your strap has simply slid off the end of the rail, you might be able to slide it back on with some patience. However, our latest bags are designed to prevent this.

How to Reattach Sternum Straps
Hello, adventurers! Today, we're diving into the basics of reattaching sternum straps on your backpacks. Whether you're dealing with the piping system or the SlideCam system, we've got you covered.
#1 Pinch the piping:
Use pliers or a vice to create a narrower section away from your usual strap position.

The piping system can be a bit tricky. If your strap has simply slid off the end of the rail, you might be able to slide it back on with some patience. However, our latest bags are designed to prevent this.

#2 Push the clip on:
Start with the end of the clip and push it on gradually. Pinch more as you go if needed.
#3 Encourage recovery:
Gently squeeze the pinched section to help it recover.

SlideCam System
Our newer bags feature the SlideCam system, which is easier to remove and replace.
Steps to Reattach:
#1 Expose the webbing:
Find and expose the top end of the slide webbing.

#2 Feed the webbing on:
Hold the cam open and feed the webbing into the bottom of the part.
#3 Tuck and lock:
Tuck the webbing back under its cover and lock the SlideCam in place.
