SB 657 Compliance

The California Transparency in Supply Chains Act (SB 657) requires many companies, including DayMen, to disclose on their websites the efforts they take to ensure that their direct supply chains are free from slavery and human trafficking. SB 657 requires disclosures regarding verification, auditing, certification, internal accountability and training. DayMen supports the fight against slavery and human trafficking and applauds California's efforts to address this global issue.

(1) Verification

Our Code of Conduct states that any form of forced labor, which includes human trafficking and slavery, and child labor are prohibited in our supply chain. These written policies and procedures outline how we identify, evaluate, address and remediate forced labor, including slavery, human trafficking, and child labor if such practices are present.

To ensure that our supply chain complies with our policies and procedures, all of our new and existing factories undergo an audit process, including "Videndum Media Solutions Human Audit." The process includes screening by our sourcing and quality teams, and requires compliance with our policies on forced and child labor.

We believe that our suppliers' compliance with our Code of Conduct reduces the risks of human trafficking and slavery in our supply chain. Videndum Media Solutions expects suppliers to comply with the Code regardless of local business practices or social customs, and demands that suppliers demonstrate adherence to the Code.

(2) Auditing

We audit our suppliers to ensure they comply with our Code of Conduct, including the sections on forced and child labor. Our auditing program evaluates all factories, and their subcontractors. Videndum Media Solutions has not engaged third parties to conduct audits. However, some of our suppliers have been audited by third parties retained by our customers, for independent verification.

Our internal QC teams typically announce audits prior to being conducted. Records of these audits are maintained for 7 years at our Asian and corporate offices.

(3) Certification

All of our direct suppliers are required to sign the Code of Conduct statement certifying that their products comply with slavery and human trafficking laws in the country or countries in which they do business.

(4) Internal Accountability

Videndum Media Solutions requires all team members and contractors to follow the standards and principals set forth in Videndum.Videndum.s Imaging Solutions's Solutions Code of Conduct. Team members who fail to comply are subject to disciplinary action and contractors who fail to comply may be dropped from Videndum.s Imaging Solutions supply chain.

(5) Training

Videndum Media Solutions provides its managers and employees who have direct responsibility for supply chain management with knowledge and information regarding Videndum.s Imaging Solutions requirements and Code of Conduct.
